Creative Process

We chose to use modern and vibrant colours when designing the logo for HKAPP. This is because they represent new and formidable forces that rose up to take up the challenge of shaping Hong Kong’s future. The Academy will be raising the next generations to be future political leaders and influential policy makers.

As for the two Chinese characters (正 & 反) on the logo, they symbolise the two sides of the same coin, and so as politics.

HKAPP is a premier educational program that gives young Hong Kongers the opportunity to study and develop their political aspirations to help shape the future of Hong Kong.

With such an important topic as the core subject matter of the Academy, it is imperative that the visuals and brand identity are kept consistent to meet the brand’s high standards of tonality in advertorial, editorial, commercial and digital mediums.
