Universal Studio Singapore Christmas Light Show

Objectives
In collaboration with our partner JX of 蘇杭街一號, we were given the chance to participate in the wonderful Christmas Light Show at Universal Studios Singapore. We hoped to co-create a stunning 3D light show that would bring on a new spectacle of music and lights, leaving the audiences with an enchanting memories.

Challenges
Projection mapping with 3D technology was definitely one big challenge for us, for it was the first 3D graphic animation design we had ever undertaken.
Since this was an oversea project, we had to ignite our imagination and play out all the creative concepts in the imagination before we got to see the actual display.

Creative Process
We had been given the storyline and music as references for the animation design. A Christmas Parade would also be performing as the Light Show begins. Therefore, we started the graphic design with the four core elements in mind: Candy House, Ice World, Gift, and Neon Light.
This spectacular Christmas Light and Projection Mapping Show was projected onto 3 walls while snow falling on NY street. Its buzzing and cheery atmosphere allows everyone in the party to get into the Christmas spirit.
